How do I replace the main circuit breaker in my home?

Do I have to hire a professional electrician or can I lawfully do it myself?

    The home owner in Texas can upgrade services on their own. Careful though oversizing the breaker will damage wire insulation, both need to be rated for use by the NEC Code.
